IRPC has participated in the PTT Group Circular Economy Forum 2023 “CONNEXT FOR A BETTER FUTURE”
On 14th June 2023, at the PTT head office building. The objective of this event is to raise awareness, build connections within the group, show our potential, share our knowledge and experiences of circular business to PTT group staff, which will bring sustainable growth to our PTT group.
In this event, there were various activities, including Circular Economy Exhibition which introduced the circular economy projects of each company. IRPC presented the exhibition in the concept of “Greater innovation for our better future” ,which showed our way to sustainability by
3Cs strategy and ERA strategy to meet Net Zero Emissions target by 2060, as well as petrochemical products from POLIMAXX, and other sustainability projects e.g., floating solar etc.
Additionally, there was a panel discussion in the topic of “Circular Economy in Action” by Ms. Pornkamol Plianpao, Senior Vice President in Petrochemical Marketing department, and other PRISM CE Team Leads, which highlighted the circular economy business of each company,the necessity of this business, circular projects under PRISM collaboration, and also shared some experiences to increase awareness and understanding to PTT Group staff.
Furthermore, there was a Circular Workshop by Ms. Kamonnart Ongwandee, the designer and speaker from the CIRCO Hub Thailand, called “Circular Fashion”, which demonstrated how to repair, redesign, and prolong the useful life of old clothes. This workshop also encouraged everyone to reuse more, make use of recycled materials to create new clothes, and learn how to consume fashion products under the concept of “Circular Economy”. Lastly, we also participated in CE market to sell environmentally friendly products with cooperation from our partners, Thaimanee craft Co., Ltd and New Arriva Co.,Ltd or Qualy.
